On this tropical island we find some of the greatest cacao worldwide. In Madagascar cacao trees arrived in the 1800s, since then fine Criollo is cultivated in the northen parts. The chocolate made with this beans has earthy and fruity notes which create an excellent combination.

Our bean-to-bar chocolate/couverture production begins with a careful examination of raw cacao beans to determine the ideal type of roasting, a process that reveals the essence of each bean.
