Handmade Bread Rusks with Sunflower Seeds 400gr Sousamli Bakery

A traditional product of Greece, the rusks, sweet or savoury, are prepared with a recipe and a process different than that of bread. Once kneaded into loaves, they are baked, then sliced, and baked once more. They can be consumed as they are or they can accompany all other meals. In Lesvos the most known and most favourite rusks of the consumers are our own, the so called “agiasotika”. It is a whole grain rusk that contains sunflower seeds.
